Rose was trying to come up with a smooth reply and figure out how to twist out of Kanaya's grasp with any semblance of grace when a shirtless, bleeding man that Rose recognized vaguely from Derse approached them and solicited Kanaya's company. Rose practically had to crane her neck back to look up at him as he spoke.

"Thank you for the lesson, Kanaya, your instruction has been most enlightening. Please feel free to attend to your business," Rose said, looking between the two of them with a raised eyebrow. She wondered what Kanaya "And... I am very glad to have spoken with you. It was good to see you again," she said softly, allowing a small, genuine smile.
