"Shit, a red shirt? Good thing this isn't Star Trek." Dave had been lurking nearby, just well enough disguised behind a tree that he went unnoticed. He'd received a text earlier that day informing him of the meeting but he'd been unsure if he really wanted to join in. He was still deep in denial about whether that dream of a strange chess queen demanding they go to war was real or not. Then his brother had shown up and... well, now he was a little irate. Why hadn't Dirk mentioned he was running off to play superhero with the crazy fish woman who'd relocated them recently? He knew Dirk was probably trying to keep him safe but it wasn't going to help to keep him out of the loop if this was all real.
He wasn't dressed for a work out; he didn't own anything of the sort. Hence, he was still wearing jeans and a t-shirt as he always did. Moving in denim wasn't an issue for him, anyhow. He took a seat near-ish Terezi, away from Dirk just to spite him. "Sup, TZ," he drawled, taking out his phone and blatantly snapping a pic of his brother getting lotion'd up by Feferi. "Fancy smelling you here."
