Re: A COUPLE OF PARTY CRASHERS

"We don't need first aid." Jane hissed, not even bothering to look back at the grumpy human megaphone. "And we certainly don't need a hospital, considering the circumstances." She sighed, eyes warm and filled with concern as they looked back to Jake. A hand rose to his cheek as the other gingerly gripped his shoulder, fingertips easily locating where it was dislocated. They trailed downwards then, and her eyes slipped shut, seeking out any sign of injury. She wasn't sure how exactly she knew what was going on; she just... Did. It was instinct.

"... You have a break, Jake." she said, biting her lip. "I know I can fix it, but I'll need to pop your shoulder back into place first." After a moment's thought, she opened her eyes, looking to the hand that had been resting upon his cheek. "... Remember back at the ride when I filled you with energy? I wonder if I can use that almost as an anesthetic." Before he could protest, she took a deep breath, and began to channel a bit of her overabundance of life into him. A shudder coursed her spine as she felt the energy leaving her body, but stopped before it could really have any negative effect on her own energy levels. She would need all of it she could for the healing of his arm.

Confident that he was properly drugged up on life, Jane took firm hold of Jake's shoulder, whispering a soft word of apology beneath her throat. "One... Two... Three!" A quiet pop was heard as she shifted his shoulder back into place, and she winced, hoping that he wouldn't feel that one later.

Her hands moved quickly then, and sparks flew as she trailed her fingertips along his arm, healing as she went. She could feel her limbs tiring and her eyes growing heavy, but the work was done soon enough. Jane took a shuddering gasp as she pulled back, shaking a little bit. That was the most complex healing job she'd done. God, she hoped it had worked. "... H-how are you feeling, J?" She murmured, continuing to ignore the others.
