Feferi's fish puns were getting out of hand. Even Dirk had to take a second to decipher that last sentence. He rolled his eyes and shot her a mildly annoyed look.

She was holding his hand again, but he didn't bother to try to pull away. She couldn't take a hint, so it wouldn't do him any good.
He held Jane's gaze easily with his own eyes hidden behind his shades. "My bad, Crocker, I didn't realize it was my job to stroke your ego. I'll get right on that."
He nearly groaned out loud when Jake offered Jane sun screen. Christ, this could get really awkward, really quickly. (Especially if Feferi decided to offer a hand as well.)
"I think everyone can handle putting on their own sun screen, English." He cut in.
