Terezi shifted her weight back and forth; rocking her hips trying to find her balance and what felt comfortable. The task appeared easy but put into practice she was still a newbie at practical and proper fighting. She felt secure at one point and decided to work with the position. She threw more punches though they were with her knuckles until Dave mentioned that it was incorrect.
Puzzled, she brought tilted her hands and tried to figure out what Dave was trying to tell her. "Alright, if you insist." She smirked, and followed his scent. She found this was equally good practice on identifying another creature by scent alone. Terezi followed the trail from his torso down his arm and assumed his hand was hovering there waiting for her punch.
She quickly took a breath in and held it; she was nervous and started to sniff the air again for reassurance. She shifted her weight and threw the punch with a strong exhale and minor shout; she was planned on making her mark. When she felt her fist collide with his hand; a bright and proud grin plastered itself on her face. "Yeah!" She shouted with a punch to the air. "How's that for a punch?!" Beaming, she seemed more excited over the fact that she actually hit Dave's hand more than anything at that moment. It was the little things in life for a blind girl.
