Karkat scowled when Dave told him to shut up. He had a goddamn right to be upset in this situation. But at this point he was running on low enough energy that he just wanted Dave's cooperation so that they could get the fuck out of there.

"My hand hurts like fuck but the rest of my arm is mostly okay," Karkat grumbled. "Think you can hold her for a sec?" Karkat helped Dave get a better grip before hurrying to collect the bags. He ran back to grab Kanaya's other side as fast as he could. Dave's wound was not looking good.
