There's No Hope Left In Man | Closed to Vriska

After what could only be described as a monstrously awful turn of events in regards to his best...His former best bro and an unnecessary use of his own hope to lash out against a door that he very much hoped cost Feferi a number of pretty pennies, Jake was so far down in the dumps that he practically lived there. He had meandered to his car and just started driving at one point, no thought or care to where he ended up.

To his own surprise, he had somehow landed himself at the parking lot near the big meet up spot that had introduced him to the other super people. Wonderful. Another reminder.

Not content with sulking in his car more, Jake found a bench that overlooked the area the circle had been at. And...and yep. He was crying again. Hopelessness flooded him, thinking only that if he couldn't even help his best bro, how could he even help this city?

It couldn't get worse than this.

The party at Feferi's... wait, no, it was someone else's house. The party, whoever's house it was at, had been a complete and utter mess. For once she wasn't the reason for the causing of a scene-- and several scenes had been made. So much had happened in those few hours, and it had left Vriska's head spinning. She had to get out of Equius's car-fume and sweat scented house and get some fresh air. She need to think.

Vriska had found herself wandering, ending up in the park.

Spin the bottle, and the various kisses therein, had been weighing on her mind. Her stomach knotted, the mix of emotions tangling inside her. What was she thinking? She should've stayed home. She shouldn't have kissed any of them--

The sound of whimpering nearby disturbed her own pity party, and she looked up from the winding path ahead of her, spotting a ...familiar face? Was that Jape? From the party? What was he doing here? Is he crying?

Vriska approached him curiously, not hiding the questioning stare on her face.
"Jape?" She asked sharply. She sounded more confused than concerned. "What are you doing?"
