As Jake filled Dirk in on his life, Jane munched on her food quietly, paying attention to the conversation at hand. She couldn't stop her mind from wandering to the fact that she was pleased to have found another friend in Dirk. Of course, she wasn't sure if he felt the same and he didn't seem the type to admit such feelings, but Jane contented herself to thinking it was what he thought as well.

Shaking her head slightly to clear her mind and move her thoughts back to the conversation at hand, Jane chuckled. "Jake has gotten into his fair share of accidents, though. He certainly likes getting hurt and worrying me to no end!"
