Feferi entirely failed to pick up on Roxy's reaction to her scarring. It wasn't that Feferi didn't trust Roxy, but the cause being a friend's superpowered malfunction and Roxy not being one of the new fledged supers.....

A vague memory from Derse flitted through her mind, but faded before she could catch hold of it properly. Dirk would have told her if Roxy was one of them though, right? Or would he? It might not have occurred to him to volunteer the information since doubtless he just meant for her to hand Roxy the package and scoot...
Feferi shook off her moment of reverie and grinned up at Roxy sliding an arm around her date's waist after the hip bump and giggling. "Whale maybe you can teach me a fin or two about cooking since apparently I've got a fancy set up," Feferi said cheerfully, though she slipped past the playful suggestion of party throwing. Despite how well Roxy was taking the ridiculousness of the abode, Feferi was still a little tense, waiting for the confident girl to find one oddity too many and take off running.
She released her grip on Roxy's waist, offering Roxy her hand in invitation. "For proper swimming we need the main part of the pool," Feferi said conversationally as she tugged Roxy along, tangling their fingers together happily. She heaved one of the sliding doors open and stepped out onto the sun-warmed stone of the patio and headed for the shallower end as the sea breeze gusted around them, lifting Feferi's mane of hair and making her grin even wider. The stone beneath their feet was pleasantly warm. The sun seemed to soak into Feferi's tanned skin as she beamed up at Roxy.
"Whale if you want to keep your hat on I'd suggest sitting on the edge and easing in?? The whole pool's too deep to stand up in..... Oh would you like somefin to float around on?" Feferi asked, turning toward the other and laying claim to Roxy's other hand in the meantime, carefully looking down and scooting close enough that she could rest her toes lightly atop Roxy's before grinning up at her date again. "It's a great pool for practicing diving in!!"
