Re: Pay no attention to the man in the furrcoat.

Tavros didn’t feel any less sick at the smile Sollux offered him, since in his mind he was certain that he’d done something wrong to mean any future between them would exist only in his sad dreams. The only light, he realized, was that if he was borrowing the other man’s sweats and with the barrette still in his hair (which he secretly not so secret wanted to keep), he would eventually have to return them. That thought in itself guaranteed a second meeting- not a date- Tav wouldn’t dare call anything between them a date at this point, but he had back of the mind hope.
Being the natural nervous wreck Tavros was, the sound to come out of his mouth in response to Sollux agreeing that they should get lunch lacked words.

“Uhhh.” He gave the teeniest nod, feeling his face start to turn a deepening shade of red.

“Your, uhh, your sweats then? Sorry, uh. I just want to change out of this.” Tav stuttered, hoping that he wasn’t making Sollux cranky by asking him to retrieve the change of pants from his car. He’d picked up that Sol wanted to tune into the meeting, and while he also cared to listen, he would also have been fine rolling himself out into traffic as to not bother anyone else.
