Re: Pay no attention to the man in the furrcoat.

Tavros had slightly widened eyes as he watched Sollux wiggling and shifting in order to find his keys, and for a moment he swore that his heart stopped, he’d died, floated out of his body to look on, and then been slam dunked back into his mostly useless form.

“I hate my life. I hate my life. I hate my life. Dying doesn’t seem like a, uh, bad option here, Tav. Maybe consider it. Or just live in the library for the rest of forever. Uhhh.”

“Okay.” He replied, voice coming out somewhere between a croak and squeak. “I’ll, uh, go on my own. Be back in a bit.”

By some grace of a God Tavros didn’t believe in, he forced a smile at Sollux and kept his eyes on his face even though the feeling of Sol squeezing his hand sent him near into cardiac arrest.

“Thanks.” Tav spoke that time with slightly more confidence, although the level was still that of a twelve year old girl. He closed his hand around the keys and then moved to back his chair up, gaze falling away from Sollux now so that he could safely back away from everyone and head out to find the jeep.
