Aradia took the medicine from Feferi. Normally she would think twice about taking medicine from people she had just met, but there was something about the girl that seemed unable to do harm. Like she was trying to care for everyone in the way that they needed. In any case, it would distract her for the time being. With practiced ease, she swallowed the pills and hoped for the best.
Clearly she had stumbled into something that she didn't know the details of. And judging by the conversation, and the context of the meeting, there was something bigger going on. They seemed to be saying that they met in a dream, but that seemed like something straight out of a bad television romantic comedy for it to be real. Even given the events of the night, he surely couldn't think that line could work to pacify....what was her name again....Nepeta, that's right, the one who was interested in larping. But for all intents and purpose, it seemed to have worked, as she was now hugging him, whereas moments before she was ready to tear his throat out with her teeth. Aradia just stood there, in dumbfound surprise, not really knowing what to make of this twist in the story. Either way, she wasn't going to interrupt, hoping to make some sense out of this paradox.
