Dirk had been paying close attention, but letting Feferi do all the talking. It was actually impressive, watching her lure Sollux in so easily and drag out information by batting her eyelashes. He'd remember not to underestimate her in the future.

He noticed as soon as Sollux started to use his powers. He scowled as the sparks somehow removed his shades and replaced them with Feferi's glasses. They were barely settled on his face before he tugged them off and handed them to Feferi, before quickly shoving his own shades back on.
