The brash display of powers and her lack of recognition for either face told her that these were more of the Prospit dreamers, though Dirk seemed to have greater familiarity with them. She probably would have gravitated more toward the others, but Jane's surname had drawn her like a shark to chum.
Fef smiled politely when Dirk introduced her. "Nice to meet you both. Any relation to Betty Crocker?" she asked Jane. As a probe and a slight it was sub par, but it cut to the heart of her confusion. Feferi was sufficiently in the know to be aware that there had been such a person as Betty Crocker, but was blissfully unaware that that was her own mother's alter ego. To Feferi, she was a semi-legendary figure who dated back to the founding of the company by the Crocker family and mostly she was just hoping to ascertain whether Jane was part of THE Crocker family and therefore someone she should be friendly towards or if she was just a... common Crocker. Her smile remained sweet as she watched Jane's face for a reaction... before processing Jake's overemphasis of words wasn't a weird speech impediment but an attempt at watery puns.
She blinked and gave Jake a curious look. Disheveled from his Tarzan adventure in the tree followed by an abrupt reintroduction to the ground, he bore little resemblance to the glimpses she had gotten of him in his truck and glowing yellow powers were so far from the opinionated carnival gentleman that she failed to make the connection. "...Have we met?" she asked curiously.
