"Yea, good thing." He answered Feferi, rolling his eyes. He actually was glad she'd dragged him along, as he'd learned a lot just from hearing everyone's powers, but she didn't need to know that. She was proud enough of herself as it was.

He cocked a brow back at Jane, mimicking her expression teasingly. "Hal took the liberty of befriending Feferi for me." He explained shortly, unable to stop himself from scowling.

Jake probably didn't know what he was getting himself into, accepting the offer of sun screen, but Dirk didn't warn him. Maybe he'd learn to think a little more before he spoke.
