Two Weeks Later... | Closed to Rose
Jade woke up with one hell of a headache.
She found herself in a forest clearing, lying on some sort of ruined stone slab. It didn't take long for memories to come flooding back to her - fighting the giclops, getting knocked off of its shoulder, an impossible, squeezing pressure around her body, then... blackness. Then, briefly, the golden spires of Prospit and the Queen's meeting, and most of her friends being surprised to see her again.
She'd died. But somehow, she was alive again. Sore and confused, but most definitely alive.
Jade stood up and brushed her somewhat tattered super hero costume off, trying to appear presentable again. She could worry about the details of her apparent revival later - for now, she just needed to find her way back.
It took a few jumps with teleportation before Jade found herself in familiar territory again, at which point she was able to teleport back to her dorm. Once she was on campus, she started walking normally - thankfully, the quad was rather empty right now, so her disheveled appearance didn't draw any attention. Once she reached the front door to her dorm building, however, she noticed one rather significant thing missing.
She'd lost her key. Great.
Still, it was no problem teleporting herself inside, just past the door. "Rose?" she called out gently, knowing that her presence would more likely than not freak out her roommate. "Are you here?"
