It was a slow day at work, not many people calling in to schedule trips and vacations, so Jake had a lot of down time on his hands. He wasn't sure what to do with it all. Did he work on his schoolwork? He had a paper that was due next week that he could work on. Or maybe he could peruse the internet for something fun to do.

Instead, his eyes caught a glimpse of a poster advertising an old place he'd traveled before with his Grandma. He remembered meeting up with his Grandpa and cousin Jade. The nostalgia made him wonder how his cousin was doing. It had been quite a while since they'd last spoken. Before he'd moved to town even.
