"Oh that's so SWEET!!!! But unfortunately I should get home and get back to homework-doing. This was a very pleasant break but I have a lot to get done tonight!!!" Feferi said regretfully. She fiddled with her purse for a moment, then brightened. "Do you mind if I get a picture of us? Commemorate the start of my new skirt!!!"

She pulled out her phone, fiddling with the settings before smiling brightly at Kanaya expectantly.

"Oh, yeah, sure." Kanaya moved next to Feferi, hunching down awkwardly so she was properly in the frame. She gave the camera a small smile and the flash went off, dazing her. "Alright," Kanaya said, rubbing her eyes. "Thank you for deciding to commission me, Feferi. I'll make the pieces as spectacular as I can." Not that she wouldn't if she weren't being paid such a sizable amount; she just wanted Feferi to know. "I'll walk you out."

She stood at the door and waved as Feferi backed out of her driveway.

Feferi grinned and saved the picture. "Good!!! I'm reely looking forward to seeing what you produce!!! But also I hope you focus on schoolwork first!! No rush to finish mine, ok?? Grades are important!!!"

She had found that oftentimes the Correct and Proper thing to say was the exact opposite of what she wanted to say and she used this to great effect to appear more thoughtful than she really was.

Fef appreciated the polite walk out and waved merrily as she drove away, humming happily to herself and eagerly anticipating her new articles of clothing.
