hoperidesagainJake had closed his food truck shortly after the lunch rush as Jane had stopped by and told him...a very startling tale. First off, news to him that the Dirk Strider apparently held some kind of feelings for him? And there'd been new powers developed??? And some real serious problems going on in his life? Jake felt like an absolute awful bro for not following up with him sooner. Life had grown chaotic, and the Pink Menace that always seemed to be at his side these days didn't help.
But when Jane had come to him in tears over how...angry Dirk was with her, and just the words he said and the things he did? No. Jake could not take this sitting down. He had gotten Jane back to his apartment and settled in for a nap. Plopped down on his couch, his phone was out and he was messaging away, a determined look on his face.

GT: We need to talk and now.
GT: Because a certain mutual close and dear friend of ours just showed up at my cart crying!!!
GT: And im sure we both know who that was because of!!
