Hello Everyone
Last Night Those Of Us Who Belong To The Golden Kingdom Were Summoned By The Queen To Hear Some Heavily Mysterious And Rather Alarming News
Previous To This Occurrence Feferi Terezi And I Discussed A Possible Meeting To Better Ourselves By Raising Our Skill Levels With The Hope That Doing So Will Increase The Chances Of A Favorable Outcome When Confronting These Otherworldly Creatures
Whatever Is Transpiring It Is Imperative That We Be Prepared And Personally I Would Be More Disposed To Practice In The Presence Of Prospective Partners
In Addition To Showing Signs Of Potential Powers My Dear Friend Karkat Is Currently Training In The Army And Has Agreed To Instruct Those Of Us Willing To Learn In Self Defense Techniques
I Request That You Do Not Bring Weapons As They Will Be Too Conspicuous In A Public Space But That You Do Bring Comfortable Clothing And If You Have Met Anyone Else That You Believe To Be Involved I Highly Encourage You Usher Them Along As More Perspectives Will Only Serve To Supplement Our Understanding Of The Situation
Karkat And I Would Like To Meet Tomorrow At 4 In Central Park Between The Fountain And The Elderly Flash Dancing Lesson
Please Contact Me Presently If You Will Be Late Or Cannot Attend

Bag packed with her sketchbook, raw meat, and grapes, Kanaya found herself ready for the journey to the park. The walk from her new place was a bit longer than before, so even though she lingered while choosing a workout outfit -- a simple white shirt and roomy ankle-length red skirt -- she overshot the timing and arrived nearly twenty minutes early.
She tucked herself beneath a tree near the upbeat dance class, pulling out her sketchbook. The wispy hair, flabby arms, and neon leotards would serve as good drawing subjects and an easy-to-follow beacon for her fellow superpowered peers to home in on.

The Boy And The Worse Idea
When she asked that, it sounded like the most stupid question he'd ever heard in his life! He nodded enthusiastically, watching as she began to circle around him. If he was thinking more clearly instead of churning out adrenaline, he'd almost compare her to a shark.
"You kidding? That was the coolest thing I've ever seen in a rumble! And you took me out with just one move! I gotta get better, and no way to do it but try again. And besides I-"
Then he lunged for her, throwing a punch to the face to distract the blow heading for her stomach, knowing he couldn't hold back on this either. Besides, with the facefull of thigh and backful of ground she just gave him, he was pretty sure Feferi was 100% tougher than she looked.
Haha Got Your Nose!!
Feferi slid left and forward, shoving his right shoulder to her right to spin him away from her and use the momentum of his lunge against him.
She briefly considered backing off and trying another kick move, but his head was just too high and it would rob her of balance to try and do a roundhouse at such an awkward angle.
Instead she brought her elbow up with a sharklike grin on her face, meaning to slam his shoulder as he turned off balance but she had misjudged his height and his stoop.
Too late to change her position, she watched with widening eyes as he staggered, his face on a collision course with her elbow.
He's Having Such A Great Time And Oh GOD
He watched her moves playing out, and...and...Oh. That's an elbow coming right for his face. And he couldn't get his body to react fast enough. Oh.
Oh no.
He smacked right into the blow nose first, and there was what he could only truly describe as a sickening crack and an almost overwhelming amount of pain. He was down to the ground, clutching his face and doing the most manly thing you had ever seen.
Screaming.
"SWEET LORD ON HEAVEN AND CURSED SATAN IN HELL MY FACE." His eyes were shut tight and his body was curled up as he just tried to somehow deal with the pain, shivering and breathing erratically.
Jane To The Rescue
Her eyes went wide before suddenly narrowing, her stomach clenching. Feferi's thighs were wound around his neck quicker than you could say "How's your father?", and for a man who was getting his ass handed to him, Jake English seemed to be right good and pleased. She clicked her tongue and tried to turn away as "round two" began, but it was obvious that they were both quite skilled, Feferi in particular. Jane would watch, but she didn't have to happy about it. She could already identify a few areas in which Jake could improve, largely in form, but otherwise he was quite good. And christ, the man could take a punch.
Speaking of, she saw his error as soon as he moved towards her, noting that Feferi did exactly as she would have done; used his momentum against him. What she wasn't banking on was her misjudged aim. Jane cried out his name in warning, but it was too late, Feferi's elbow slamming smack into Jake's face.
Wisps of static swirled around Jane in her panic as she ran forward, weaving in between people until she got to where Jake lay, fetal and shivering. It was so rare that she saw him in this state, so exuberant and happy-go-lucky was he. Usually, even hurt, he stayed relatively stalwart, if his earlier broken arm and subsequent thumbs up was any indication. But this was an entirely new ballgame, and his pain almost brought Jane to tears. Her heart pounded as she came to kneel at his side, brushing the hair from his face. Any jealousy revolving around Dirk and Feferi melted away for this moment. All she cared about was healing him.
Her eyes glowed bright, and she rose her hand, life already dancing between her fingertips. "I'm here, Jake..." she whispered soothingly, stroking his head as he shook. She wanted to calm him down a bit before shocking his system with life.
Bonebreaker, love taker
Guilt roiled, fighting with the temptation to blame it on the fool currently bleeding on the ground.
His nose had broken so easily under her elbow. If she'd been a little more off she could have killed him by accident. A bit of bone in his brain and he would have been a goner.
"I'm sorry," she said numbly, fists clenching and unclenching at her sides. "Can you help him?"
PAIN PAIN HURT
He took slow breaths to try to crack a smile for her, coming more to just one side of his mouth than anything as he tried to turn around his reaction.
"O-Oh! Jane...W-What are you doing...h-here? I'm fine...j-just a bit of spa- AGH!" He had turned his head a bit wrong, hands clenching his nose again and eyes shutting tight.
But Jane was here. And deep down, he knew he'd be okay.
ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN
"Shhh..." Jane murmured, stroking the side of Jake's face softly and trying to to ignore the fact that blood had begun to coat her fingertips. "I'm going to heal you now, alright?" She closed her eyes, and let life flow from her body to his own, giving a soft sigh as she felt energy leaving her. They both glowed with a soft green, and Jane knew that he was out of pain for the moment at least. Her fingertips then found his nose, and she set it straight before channeling the wispy green current into the break, keeping her breathing even. It was a moment before her work was done, and then she pulled back, taking a slow, shuddering breath. "There." she whispered, smoothing the hair upon his forehead. "You're fine... It's okay..." Her eyes were warm. "... How do you feel, love? Give your nose a touch; see how it feels."
Jane waited until she was sure Jake was alright before standing and turning to face the other woman, her usually calm blue eyes turning icy and cold. Her gaze was a weapon in and of itself; daggers aiming straight for Feferi. "What is your fucking /PROBLEM/?!" She yelled, her fuse finally reaching its end. Jane had tried to be patient. Had tried to be understanding. But this was the final straw. Erratic green static cackled around her, making her hair stand on end.
Floating to the Top
Fef set her jaw, pink eyes glaring right back at Jane. "I misjudged my elbow block whale sparring with YOUR overenthusiastic boyfrond," she snapped, her teeth grinding together as she inhaled, inflating like an angry pufferfish.
Re: Floating to the Top
Jane was already beginning to feel bad. Perhaps she had been a bit harsh. But no one had sugarcoated her wake-up call. Feferi needed to join the real world just as Jane had done.
Froth and foam signifying nofin
"Hal invited me. I'm shore you'd been there, a few jiggles and the door popped right open. I didn't even know I had broken in until no one was there after all," Feferi said in a flat voice. "I moved them somewhere they don't have a landlord who would sell access to their space to anyone with a hundred bucks. They have a locking front door and proper beds to sleep in."
Feferi took a step forward, her nose almost touching Jane's. Her pink eyes were free to glare into Jane's without the usual fancy glasses. "You know nofin. NOTHING about me or where I come from," she growled. "I am sorry that I misjudged my hit and broke your nose Jake and I'm sorry you fell out of a tree earlier and broke your shoulder," she said, though her eyes were still locked with Jane's. "I'm glad Jane here is God's actual gift to the universe with all the friends and all the wisdom and all the powers to fix things us selfish rich girls ruin."
Fef stepped back, rolling her head on her neck without breaking eye contact. "But what do I know, huh? Just a spoiled rich girl who never does anyfin to help anyone," she snapped, biting off her words. She turned on her heel and strode away toward the rest of the group, snatching up her bag as she went, sending her and Jake's glasses flying. Feferi paused and huffed as she spoiled her exit to turn back and hand Jake his glasses. She gave Jane a last glare and stalked away, deciding it wasn't worth losing her dignified departure a second time to grab her own fake glasses.
On Painkillers And Unsure Of What's Happening
He had barely muttered the words before Jane let out a very angry sentence to Feferi...and Feferi called him Jane's boyfriend? What. Not an unpleasant thing but...
He began to sat up as the two came to an argument, grimacing as he looked between the two. "Ja...Fe...Hey...You two hey...I..."
Though he only ever dealt with hope, the anger between the two was palpable, and it honestly just made him uncomfortable. The man didn't deal with even positive feelings well, and this all just felt...wrong. When Feferi spoke to him, even as she glared Jane down, he tried to respond back. "Hey it's..okay. You didn't mean to. I'll be okay. I'm-"
But then she was backing off, snapping at Jane once more before coming back for his glasses. "...Thank you, Feferi." He managed to get that off at least before she walked away, turning to Jane with an absolutely exhausted look on his face.
"...I think I'm ready to leave. And we should talk."
Way To Go, Janey
